Welder — Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $[28] – $[38] per hour (based on experience)
About Us
We are a growing machine and fabrication shop serving industrial and commercial clients. We're looking for an experienced, certified welder to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Flux and/or Stick — specify as applicable)
• Fabricate, fit, and weld metal components to project specifications
• Perform quality checks and inspect welds for defects
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with WorkSafeNB standards
• Complete required documentation
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable welding experience (required)
• CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification or Red Seal — required
• Proficiency in MIG / TIG / Stick
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Valid Drivers License
